Resumen del Editor
Finding success through failures is not difficult. I have failed so many times at so many different things. My life is a chunk of failures, but guess what? Those failures lead to my successes also. I have experienced the downright worst of times and also have had some success. On our way to success, we have to understand that failure is a part of our progress and should be embraced, not avoided.
Instead of having fear, we need to embrace failure firmly, look for the signs and learn every time we face it. Failure is not a burden and offers incredible value if we know how to approach it. This book was written to help people embrace that concept. At the end of this audio book, you will have a firm understanding of failure and how to use it to your benefit.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Compelling story, great narrator
What did you love best about Failing Upwards?
Moving and encouraging!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Failing Upwards?
Hearing success stories of people who failed and then succeeded - Twitter, Wright brothers, etc...
Which character – as performed by Rob Actis – was your favorite?
Great narrator, well balanced. Doesn't put you to sleep, but isn't over the top excited like so many narrators can be. Kept me engaged on a long road trip. I like his voice
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Failing Upwards?
Failure does not equal defeat

The Narrator Is The Primary Reason Finished It.
Would you listen to Failing Upwards again? Why?
Yes I would listen again because the narrator captivated my attention and made the book interesting. In all honesty...the book did not divulge any new information that I have not read in a dozen other self-help books. If I were to have bought it in the store I would have probably stopped reading after the first few chapters, but the narrator Rob Actis read the book in such a way that it stimulated me and I found myself pondering my life and the actions that I have taken that have gotten me where I am today.
What did you like best about this story?
Like I mentioned above...the book did not provide me with any new information. I enjoyed it because of the way it was read. It captivated me.
Have you listened to any of Rob Actis’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No. This is the first book that I have listed to.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
I will specifically remember his inaccurate history of Colonel Sanders rise to fame. It was not factual and I am not sure where the author got the information from, but it seems that he added his own twist to try to make it seem more interesting.
Any additional comments?
This is an easy book to listen to. It is articulated very well and can be paused and picked right back up where one paused it...without having to rewind and listen to it again. I think that for a novice reader it is a great book to start with and it was narrated in such a way that it is appropriate for all ages.

Great Book and Beautifully Narrated
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is very good positive reading that can help us all in our efforts to improve our lives. It is too easy to quit and say "I knew it wouldn't work out" when trying something. This book reminds us that it's about process and not about instant success.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Failing Upwards?
The only thing that prevents success isn't the failures along the way, it's deciding to quit before we succeed.
Which scene was your favorite?
Rob Actis delivers an amazing thoughtful and natural read that makes the material seem like the only reasonable conclusion.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No of course not. I have a day job ya know.

Failing Upwards is a good feel good book
If you could sum up Failing Upwards in three words, what would they be?
Benjamin uses good examples that tech savvy readers will relate to and gain good ideas for looking at how they can can overcome pitfalls that stop many people from achieving success and fail upwards.
What about Rob Actis’s performance did you like?
I really enjoyed how this book was read by Rob Actis. His voice and intonations enlivened this book.

Reads like a long pep talk
Use failure to fuel your journey. Make sure you know how to recognize failure. Michael Jordan and Twitter failed but then succeeded. AOL didn't recognize failure so it failed. Those are the main points I took from the book.
The content is extremely shallow. It reads more like a long locker room pep talk than a book. You can find YouTube videos with similar content. No real original ideas. Narrator is okay.
