This week hasn’t gone the best for me unless you count Casimir, the sexy ancient vampire, bringing me back from the brink of death (and tying my fate to his in the process). Not that it matters if the werewolves and vampires don’t stop their ridiculous feud, because someone is targeting them and widening the divide between our communities with each body they leave in their wake.

But as the alpha’s son, I have a plan to fix everything. I’m going to convince Casimir to fake date me to show the others that we can work together.

I mean… what could go wrong?

Literally everything could go wrong. Who is actually going to believe that I want this joke-cracking, cute werewolf tagging alongside me?

Honestly, do I even care if people get along? I really think I have much more important things to do than going on hardware store dates, learning the torturous art of holding hands, and attending awkward family dinners, like… staring at my dog… and… I’m sure there’s something else.

Okay, fine, maybe this whole fake dating scheme isn’t the worst idea that I’ve come across in the past five hundred years, but it’s definitely in the running. The two of us are just going to have a bit of fun while I stop whoever’s hunting down the vampires and werewolves… right?

Fake Dates and Fanged Mistakes has a sunshiny yet stubborn werewolf who just wants everyone to get along, dang it; a bored vampire who isn't nearly as aloof as he wants to appear; paper napkins trying (and failing) to stand in for clothes; some awesome swordsmanship; and the last thing you’d expect to find in a secret cupboard.

funny and great story!

Another great story written by Alice Winters and performed by Michael Ferraiuolo. It was funny and intriguing with a great plot and story building. Vampires and werewolves getting along can happen... it just takes determination and one man who doesn't know how to give up lol

Such a fantastic book. fun and witty. with a good mystery/ romance. can't wait for the next book.

I love Alice Winters books but they are the best when listened to. Michael Ferraiulo really brings the characters to life.

I love everything about this book it was fun to listen I think I listen like 5time and it still fun to listen to again

I love this author. She writes dialogue so well. It is funny and very entertaining. I can’t get my hands on enough of her books. I am looking forward to the next one. What does Casimir have in his trunk and what all is he hiding? Casimir is not a perfect vampire even though he is the leader of the territory. I like that this vampire was written differently than most that I have read. He is not always secure and is finding it hard to lean on others. Julian just wants to be there for him!

The narration is great. He makes the book come alive!

this book was awesome if you like VRC (vampire related crimes) also but Alice Winters, you will like this book too.

It was a fun listen

I enjoy all of Alice Winters books, the characters, snark, grumpy/sunshine is always fun but, I kinda feel like this one didn’t quite hit the mark. I will definitely be listening again just in case I was experiencing a brain cramp at the time.

Both entertaining and mysterious. Story is captivating. Can’t wait for the next book. Loved the narration.

Purchased on a whim

I believe this is the first book I’ve read by this author and I loved it. I can’t say enough good things about it or adequately express how much I enjoyed it.

Hilarious!

This book was hilarious! Dare I say, the funniest Alice Winters book so far. The plot was fast paced and hooks you in from the start. The interactions between Casimir and Julian's dad were fantastic. There were plenty of plot twists to keep you guessing until the end. Love Julian and Casimir! Michael Ferraiuolo is a master of his craft. His ability to bring all these characters to life is phenomenal.
