Thought provoking

Fascinating listen with an unfortunately believable plot and very likeable characters. I just downloaded the next book in the series and hope they keep coming.

not my normal genre. loved it

The last half of the book super fast read. overall this was fun and thought provoking.

Good medical thriller

What I particularly like about this book is how innocuous the setup is. No criminal intent seems evident, but the main character is relentless and I was rooting for her.

Outstanding medical thriller!

This was a very well written medical thriller that is hard to put down. I work in the medical profession and appreciated all the medical information. I think the terminology is explained well for those not familiar with medical terms and anesthesiology. I am an avid reader and this one is great! I highly recommend this book - very gripping and you can’t put it down!!

Great job

As an Anethesia provider, I truly enjoyed this book. Undoubtedly, the writer is an Anesthesiologist and a good writer. I had a hard time putting it down. The narrator is easy to listen to.

Medical Thriller!

I LOVE medical thrillers. This one did not disappoint. It is well written and medically accurate. It is an easy read since you won’t want to put it down. The characters are so lovable. I was rooting for a few of them! You get attached because they are written so well. The mystery of it will keep you picking the book up to see what has happened and why!

Good story but……

This was a great story. It grabbed me from the first chapter. It stayed interesting until the last 45 minutes. Then I got confused as to who was who, who was dead, what happened to her? And why can’t there be any happy ever after?

Medical thriller

Lots of characters to keep straight. This book really challenged my ability to suspend disbelieve. I did enjoy the fast pace and the character development.

Excellent story

Very well written. Many layers of interesting life issues tackled. As a fellow female anesthesiologist, I enjoyed a pretty realistic depiction of our work world, and very clever plot development, involving the tools of our trade, and some of the tough ethical dilemmas. Likable protagonist, truly diabolical bad guys, with very believe-able narcissism! I will definitely recommend to doctor colleagues, but everyone will find something to enjoy about this story.
