The story is OK but not so compelling. Characters felt flat and explanations were labored. It was promised to be CSI meets M*A*S*H, but I won't mostly bored. No twists, no turns, no serious suspense and no wit and author used "quipped" too much.

Great listen
Loved the narration, the story which totally kept my attention. Creepy to say the least. And the music from the 20’s was just perfect!

The humor mixed in with the thriller story.
First time reading this author and loved his book. I’m looking forward to the next one. The characters are so life like I can picture them in my mind.

Great medicine
Being in the medical field, I appreciate all the correct medicalese but also that it's not overwhelming to the non-medical reader. Love the characters - I feel like I've worked with every last one of them! The good, the bad (and the ugly) in these stories feel right and real.
You'll love Banshee. And pick up the next in the series, too!

Right up my alley
Loved the mix of the chaos of the emergency room and someone killing patients.
Easy to listen to and follow.

Most Enjoyable
Can’t wait for book 2, and here’s hoping that Lawlor does the narration. Well written stories deserve the best voice actors.

always looking for the best in prople
