Enjoyable Listen

Loved it! I listened to it in one day, captivated by the characters, story writing style and narration. Looking forward to more by this author!

Very entertaining

I enjoyed this right from page one. It was like reading a book about a superhero!

The humor mixed in with the thriller story.

First time reading this author and loved his book. I’m looking forward to the next one. The characters are so life like I can picture them in my mind.

This was never boring. The medical background accurate. The story twist different than any I had previously read.

Great medicine

Being in the medical field, I appreciate all the correct medicalese but also that it's not overwhelming to the non-medical reader. Love the characters - I feel like I've worked with every last one of them! The good, the bad (and the ugly) in these stories feel right and real.
You'll love Banshee. And pick up the next in the series, too!

Most Enjoyable

Can’t wait for book 2, and here’s hoping that Lawlor does the narration. Well written stories deserve the best voice actors.

always looking for the best in prople

While it started a bit slow, it was a good read and well performed. And the dog doesn't die.

Silly main character

The main character was over done and not very likable. Narrator was too old sounding which grew annoying. Pretty silly writing with too many corny comments.

Too much filler

The first several chapters were loaded with unnecessary, time wasting material. It took a long time before the actual story began. Needs a lot of editing

Not a true medical thriller. Save your credits!

I didn't like the foul language.....it added nothing to the book. It has a "feel good" ending, which I liked....but the whole "doctor turns detective" was a little wonky to me. Also, I didn't think the narrator was right for this book. He had kind of a " sing- song" lilt to his voice that made it hard to take the book serious. I was disappointed, overall. I thought it was going to be a good medical mystery thriller....but it wasn't. I wish I hadn't used up a credit on this book.
