Slow burn, enough new information to keep me hooked, and not repetitive sequences. When trying to find memories many authors repeat too much… not Kearl!

Well this book started rocky for me but won me over by the end
The beginning wasn’t exactly enjoyable for me but by the middle it picked up and started to interest me as much as the other two. By the end I decided i absolutely do not want to wait for the next one!! So good.

I want to cry
I have read the book twice. I can't wait for the next one, there is so much emotion in the book and I have the whole series and ugh I finished the book the first time and just cried because it makes you feel like you are right there watching, interacting as the main characters. I pre ordered this and as soon as I see the 4th book it'll be pre ordered n both audible and book 🤩 so the series has and always will be a must.

pleasantly surprised
I loved this one. I'm not big on love triangles but the way it plays out in this one. I liked how this book was more centered on the characters and their relationships while still pushing the plot forward. I can't wait for book 4

Phenomenal narration, okay story
Let me preface by saying that this is exactly how books should be narrated, especially when there's two (or more!) POVs.
The world building was great, but I think the bait and switch romance trope is a little bit boring. I'll like to see how the next book plays out, but the ending on this one didn't captivate me as much as the first two books.
