great start to a series! the story, plot, characters, narrators were all amazing!!! 5 star review

How can we end there!

You know I have such a love hate relationship with cliff hangers! One the one hand they are amazing because of course I immediately want to jump to the next book. But on the other hand I want to yeet my phone into the atmosphere 😂

There are so many questions and not enough answers! I am curious about many things and I don’t want to spoil this for anyone!

Satisfying!

This was one of the best stories Ive heard this week. The world building leaves me silently, eyes closed, imagining every word. The characters are well developed, the plot is delicious, and the tension between the main characters is so immense that I cant wait to listen again! I really like this story.

can we please get the next ones on audible please. the story pulled me in and didn't let go until I was done and I'm still grinding my teeth for more

Interesting plot

I like how this started and I like where it is going. The narrators a great. I feel like the characters should have more interactions and development because they seem kinda flat, but I still want to continue the series.

Interesting story

An interesting story line and great performance. My only complaint is that the story feels unfinished. I get that with a series there will always be something left undone but this is really bad.

An unexpected fantasy treasure

I try new-to-me authors when Audible has a big sale. I end up discarding more than 2/3, unfinished. This book was so good, I stopped to buy the sequel when only part way through.
The world-building was layered, the characters complex and the narration added to the experience rather than detracting or distracting. This author has won a place on my must-buy list.

This is a wild fantasy enemies to ??? full of hate and steamy steamy princes who cannot escape their absolute infatuation with the fmc. Fantasy world is easy to understand. The last 1/3 of the book had me in a chokehold. Immediately starting the next book with that epilogue

Great story about someone wildly suspicious of Fae

I really couldn't stop listening it was a great story. I wondered how Lonnie could go from being helpless to being someone who has the power to kill the Fae King

Different

I listen to A LOT of fantasy/fae audios and I really appreciated this story for it not being a rinse and repeat. I think the conversation make sense, the characters are complex and enough intrigue. No real smut in this book but with the build up I’m assuming next book will have copious amounts. And I have really high hopes that the next book will have epic reverse harem scene, based on the dream sequence s.
