Fantastic series

This is one of those surprising series that caught me unaware. I had not heard of this series and just decided to give it a try on speculation and am I happy I did! Fantastically original story telling

Great Listen, Intriguing Idea, Worth it.

Wasn’t sure what I was getting into but I quickly was intrigued by the story and the world the author was creating. Unfortunately the writing is robotic and I’m well into book 2 and wondering if this was partially written with AI. That’s how robotic it is. I’m surprised the narrator was able to keep up with this because of how robotic the text is. All that to say I’m still very much enjoying the listen.

Edit: Found out that the author is Ukrainian and it makes more sense that this is translated material rather than AI generated. Probably AI translated.

Interesting tale, full of adventure and action

Good story of people who fund themselves in a fortnite style world. Having the first three books together makes for long and excellent listening.

Like an underdog? Like watching them progress right down to their stats - this series is for you. Unique enjoyable main character and hidden complex system.

Great set of books.

Grab this when I needed something to listen to because it was an anthology. Was very impressed with the story, it drags sometimes but overall great listen.

what is happening

so lost, like it's taking me almost 20 chapters to get a vague idea how or what's happening in the story.

fresh take on Isekai

engaging and interesting, only real beef I have is the translator does not use many contractions in dialog. "Do you know what I am saying?" it makes the dialog come across robotic and clunky at time.

Overcomplicated..

I normally leave books on in the background as white noise, but I still pay attention to them. This book caught me completely off guard. I feel it was written more to explain and talk about the over-complicated game dynamics than the story itself. Some people love the dynamics of the game systems in litrpg novels others like the simple adventure. This book is all about the game dynamics.

Good story, but if I can make two changes…

Love the story, but my main issues with it is that it is too wordy. It feels like you are trying to hit a word count. My second issue is not big but a critique that with how drawn out the first two levels that he has gone through how many more books are you planning to write for the full story?

Great series really enjoyed

I greatly enjoyed the series although I do hope there is more to come if not then the end was just as sudden as every other moment in the series and I can enjoy that as well overall great story and a blast to listen to.
