His story is that of pride, selfishness, brokenness, forgiveness, redemption, hope, faith, belief, strength, perseverance, and redemption through Jesus Christ. This memoir is all about hope and giving listeners the confidence and courage to face their future, and his words show how with God's support everything is possible.
From Sorrow to Amazing Grace is honest and straightforward. He throws light on living in a safe environment growing up and how he was keen to be in law enforcement. He captures his struggles, stress, and his PTSD, and he overcame his struggles and difficulties by putting complete faith in Jesus Christ. There are many men and women in the public safety field who suffer from the same maladies - this is a must-listen for those individuals.

fast-paced and real
This was surprisingly gripping. The author isn't overly dramatic but makes you feel suspense of how his life unfolds... and a sense of being there when he and his police friends face events that are difficult to imagine.
