excellent
I loved this book. It was everything I already knew, and things i did not know, consciously laid out for me. I enjoyed this audible, but honestly wish I bought the kindle or book version. So many notes to take and the pdf. included did not contain all that I needed to write down. i had to clip so many sections and take a bunch of notes. I highly recommend this book but if you are like me and want to refer back to things, get a non-audible version or buy both. I wish the author would have included highlighted notes from each chapter in the pdf.

Genius Foods
I have read a lot of health books in my life but this one for me was GENIUS! Max truly did his research and the knowledge that he shared was intense but easy for me to wrap my head around. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Thank you Max for putting in all the hard work and research and mostly for sharing your knowledge. 😊

Spot on in every dimension.
The gut health chapter is a gem and it's not even marketed as a gut health book
Explained the microbiome to a point where it's easy to understand but goes deep. Will be buying the hard copy and highlighting it up. Will certainly be a reference for years to come.

Introduce to some, reintroduce to others
Came across recommendation for this book in a newsletter I get on well-researched books and after I read two other books on similar topics, both well-researched also. The book does a great job of mixing "nerd stuff" with lay explanations. Witty at time. Important info throughout. Author/narrator does a great job.

good reading, helpful tips
I'm not sure if it is really genius! but it is surely a very good, practical and useful summary of info about cognitive health, longevity, anti-aging literary well-being in general.

Great book!
This was an extremely well written and informative book. Everything Max states in the book is backed by case studies and clinical trials, which is huge! I would recommend this to anybody that is either health nut, or wants to become one and change their diet.

Lifestyle Changes
This book offers some great life style changes that you can make all together or piece by piece and become healthier. Most diets feel like all or nothing, so I end up failing when I can't live up to it 100% of the time. Genius Foods gives a bunch of solutions, and I fee like I can implement some and work on the rest, to eventually become healthier. Since reading the book, I've started taking MCT oil and collagen, and doing intermittent fasting during the weekdays only, 16 fasting/8 eating, along with exercise and I've lost 9 lbs. I'm also making smarter decisions with the foods that I eat. Great book.
