Great story and characters

Loved story line, plot and character development. Easy to visualize as great descriptions. Hope more to follow

Cute easy read

I enjoyed the story and the narrators! I liked having a male and female voice reading. I am about the stat book two!

Wierdest male narrator of all time.

Cute love story. I was really looking forward to listening to this book & series. Unfortunately, the male narrator does extremely wierd voices for some characters making it hard to listen to & by that I mean exhausting & eye- rolling worthy. I would have listened to the others in the series, but he alone makes me pass. He is talented & needs to be on stsge doing comedic roles or maybe voices for puppets but it’s overkill in an audible listen.

Lighthearted

Book One in the Shackleford Sisters Series, introducing the characters as well as the love story. It’s kind of a silly, slapstick comedy that’s easy to read, but covers some of the effects of the trauma of war.
The Audible narration is pleasant.

Good

The series is really good but that male narrator drives me crazy. I cannot even continue the series if I have to hear him talk.

Luke warm romance

The vicar/ father is as featherbrained as Mrs. Bennet. Yes there are funny bits. Mostly I was just irritated by the Duke and the father. No real grand gesture, no trying to communicate, and no real surprises. The narrators put their all into the voices in an extremely theatrical manner which helped with the entertainment of the story. Overall I most likely will not finish the series.

I love British Humor

Would have liked this a lot more had the bedroom scenes not been so detailed. I ended up just skipping past.

GREAT English dramatized story, Could see this in a film.
def moving on to the other 6 books.

The Dukes love for the duchess.

The story was very short it left me wanting , more social engagements would have benefited the novel.

Very entertaining quick read with funny narration. Worth giving a listen to. Would recommend.
