TERRIBLE narration; mispronounces basic words.

narrator mispronounces basic words, hard to listen to. the overall work is poorly organized. terrible narrator.
but, straightforward, clear information. however, at the end of each chapter there is a section of conclusions. many of those conclusions are not addressed in the proceeding portion of the lecture. moreover, many of the assertions made, have absolutely no context, or proof given to support their "conclusion."
the writer writes that one of the greatest accomplishments by the Celtic society is the Celtic culture enduring despite Roman intervention and disruption. however, in the next sentence no less than a dozen Celtic tribes are listed that were either defeated or assimilated.
after spends a lot of time talking about how the only thing the various Celtic tribes had in common was a language, thus lacking a cohesive culture. however, in one of the conclusions, it talks about how the Celtic culture endured because the Celtic tribes shared the same language, art, and religion. ART AND RELIGION WERE NEVER DISCUSSED!
overall, solid information. but when there are omissions, they are glaringly obvious!
Narrator has a difficult voice to listen to. his Southern drawl makes him mispronounce basic words like: many, ten, Elbe, Constantinople, province, and Punic Wars, Kent, etc. At times it's hard to understand exactly what he's saying because the accent is so pronounced. Besides his accent, the narrator is lazy because sometimes he mispronounces the same word in different ways throughout the work. maddening. wouldn't listen to this again due to the incompetent narrator.
