R.A. Torrey was one of the few men who lived his life to the very hilt for Jesus. He was friends with D.L. Moody, helped pioneer the Moody Bible Institute, and wrote extensively on prayer and the Holy Spirit. However, he didn’t just write about these things out of theory, or simply from studies of the Bible texts; he wrote out of experience. He was a man of prayer and a man who had an incredibly close relationship with the Spirit of the Lord. These truths poured out of him onto the pages of his books, and have touched countless lives over the generations.
Contained in this audiobook are several powerful works from Torrey, including the classic How to Obtain Fullness of Power. There is also his shorter, yet equally important work, Why God Used D.L. Moody, and two bonus sermons; The Christ-Like Man, plus Heroes and Cowards.
