Who knew I needed Daddy Stephen Dexter in my life? Oh yeah basically everyone. He played a grumpy, single dad so good. He was absolute perfection with his resting grump face. I love that swears too much, that he loves his girls so much and that he likes to be in control in the bedroom.

Winnie is little Frannie all over again. She is just absolute joy and happiness in everything. She loves to love. What of us romance readers doesn’t fall in love all the time?

Stars of the book were Hallie and Luna the little girls and their dialogue were so funny. I laughed so much when they would talk about their dad while he was sleeping.

The intimate times were so hot. I’m telling you if you don’t love Melanie Harlow then you have no soul.

Also Kirsten Leigh it has been too long since I’ve heard you in my ears and I missed you. You were perfect for Winnie.

Fun, Emotional and Steamy Romance!

I absolutely loved everything about this sweet and steamy age gap romance. I was so excited to return to Cloverleigh Farms, and adding in a grumpy, sexy single dad with adorable daughters, I was completely captivated! Winnie MacAllister brings us full circle back to the beginning of this series. She is Mack's young daughter, all grown up. She is an event planner at Cloverleigh Farms and is in love with being in love. After her last heartbreak, she has sworn off men for awhile. That is until a sexy firefighter, single dad moves in next door. Dex Matthews is not good at opening up or being vulnerable to anyone, which ended his marriage. Being an ex navy SEAL with back to back deployments, Dex Matthews was closed off, alienating his wife. He also missed so much of the firsts with his young girls. After they divorced, Dex isn't interested in a relationship, only to be the best dad possible to his adorable little girls. When his girls form a bond with Winnie, Dex is frustrated, especially because she is younger than he is. But they all have fun together, and Dex can't stay away from the beautiful woman who is so full of life and is easy to talk to. They soon agree to a no strings, neighbors with benefits arrangement, and wow their chemistry is explosive! But when things change, and become complicated, it is not only their hearts that get broken. I loved, loved, loved this funny, heartfelt, and sizzling romance! Dex is grumpy on the outside, but is a total softy behind his walls, which makes him extra swoony. Winnie is lively, independent, and adventurous, making her a perfect match for Dex. I loved them together and the evolution of their relationship as they faced the complications and challenges of life. I laughed out loud more than once at the many different conversations, especially with Dex's girls. I also loved getting to know some new characters and hope to get more of their stories as well. Like Winnie, I am also a sucker for a great grand gesture, and this had one that was hilarious and made me so very happy!
Narrators, Stephen Dexter and Kirsten Leigh were brilliant as Dex and Winnie, delivering a performance that was completely addictive. They portray each character, including the Dex's young daughters, with a perfect balance between fun & flirty, heartbreaking emotion, and sizzling passion flawlessly. They work well together, conveying so much emotion in their performances.
I really loved this hilarious, sweet, sexy and swoony romance!

Just what i needed

First time ever reading/listening to a book by this author. Have to say 🤔😃 i really enjoyed it. It was funny, realistic, and smoking hot 🔥. I always read the reviews first and they all said a romcom slash steamy romance. Yeah they nailed that spot on. Can’t wait to see what else this author has to offer.

Love the series of books from Melanie Harlow and I love that she’s continuing the series with the next generation of characters from the previous books. Love the narration of both Stephen Dexter and Kirsten Leigh. Both brought the book to life. Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

This book is very much a spicy rated R hallmark story. The spicy parts were good. The kids were epic. I absolutely loved the kids “shit talking “ in the morning. I actually laughed out loud listening to this! I loved this .
