Slow start, but definitely picks up despite narration

I was about to return this title but diligently kept added. The first 70 pages or so did not engage me. However, after the teleportation scene, the story definitely picked up, became more engaging and creative, and held my attention nicely. I will say that the female narrators accents are cringe bad. It’s uncomfortable.

the foreshadowing and resolutions.

Nothing in the story ever feels unresolved or mysterious once it's is revisited or explained. Great use of foreshadowing, and recalling of events. even ones that feel minor.

Good for what it is

Some of the reviews called it boring and some said the science isn’t correct… well I didn’t find it boring… and the science can be what it wants, it’s fiction after all. The performance of the book was great, but the Nina Narrator could have been left out and just done with one. Outside of that, I feel it was worth the credit I spent on it.

Great book

Really enjoyed this one. A fast, fun book. Scott Brick and Suzanne Elise Freeman are as good as ever and Ash Bishop weaves a great story. Hoping there is a sequel.

Good Read

The book was very entertaining. My only disappointments while reading this book was outside interruptions that took me away from it. I was drawn back to the book.

A universe of possibilities is wrenched open by this engaging novel.

I found the characters interesting and their delemas handled in creative ways. The best way to write, is to write about what you know. I can't help but think that the author knows little about building construction/ trades work. But I found this more charming then off putting. Because I know so little about firearms.
But the possibilities for developing a series around this first novel as I'm sure will be the case, has me impatient for the next installment. And the possibilities for spin off series's are endless. I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

No pressure...

Lighthearted and enjoyable

Peril and laughter rolled together with an underline sexual tension that has me cheering on the characters. I definitely felt the cringy badness of the bad guys. Love the intelligence of our heroine and the lucky/genius of our hero! Well done!

I enjoyed this book very much. I don't understand the bad reviews? The book held a good pace, the narrators were excellent, and the story imaginative!

It was a good read

Had some issues part way through, but overall the story was nice. Ending could have used some work, but wasn't so bad that it ruined the mood of the book.

the plot... a mix of Guardian of the galaxy and hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

the book was to short... I hope the story continues with another book... Fingers crossed.
