Don't Waste Your Credit
I have Lupus (SLE), so I am always looking for different types of books regarding Western medicine and Complementary medicine. I was excited to start this, but not even halfway through chapter 1, I was really regretting my purchase. This man has no credentials and considers his ex-wife's battle with SLE to be his "firsthand experience". He talks about how he "constantly told his wife to try other methods of treatment" and to "not listen to the doctors"-- if you have SLE, don't read/listen to this one, it will only frustrate you... This book is mainly bashing traditional medicine, doctors, and pharmacists. This author is autoimmune patients' nightmare-- think of your typical, "HAVE YOU TRIED THIS HOLLISTIC AND UNSOLICITED ADVICE FOR YOUR DISEASE I DON'T HAVE?" I really regret wasting my credit, and Audible won't let me return it. I would not waste your time on this one, so disappointed!
