Astoundingly Life Changing
Where does The Mood Cure rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book changed my life in only TWO DAYS! From then on it has just got better and better. I feel alive again. 5 long years of feeling lethargic, moody, out of control and constantly crying for no reason ! I could feel the real me inside but I felt like I just couldnt lift off what was ailing me? I was determined to find the cause and here it is, contained in this book.
If you are having problems with anxiety, anger, depression, stress or anything mood related don't just put it down to "oh thats just the way I am" or "its because of...." It could very well be just a chemical imbalance in your brain that can be fixed with supplements and some simple diet changes and Dr Ross helps you every step of the way. The supplements themselves are miraculous in restoring your moods making life happiness.
So get busy and READ THIS BOOK !

It is very reader friendly. She starts out with a quiz to help you find out what category you fit into, if not all of them !!!! Then provides detailed explanation on why you feel like you do and what you can do to improve your situation by suggesting supplements and simple dietary changes.
What does Coleen Marlo bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Coleen read the book beautifully but it seemed her voice was a bit robotic, like it had been run through a voice synthisiser.

Where does The Mood Cure rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I recommend this book to anyone who has depression or other Mood issues. The answer may be in this book. The information and implementation started changing my mood within days. It's been about a month - and I'm feeling great!

Eye opening!!
While reading this book I realized how much we all maybe missing, in terms of vitamins, from the foods we have available to us. I've been looking for answers as to why I'm always tired and no doctor has given me a logical answer EVER! I now have some answers, thank you so much for the insight.

Very informative, no pdf's
This audio was very informative, gave very specific directions on balancing and uplifting your moods, using herbal supplements. I did find I didn't want the audio to end, because of the interesting data, studies and information given. If you are looking for ways to be happier without prescriptions, sleep better, have more energy during the day, this audio has some very interesting findings. When taking the questionnaire, which is found on the moodcure website, I found I fit into many different categories. Does this mean I need about 10 different supplements? A lot of talk of Amino Acids, 5-htp, Sam-e and there affect on your body and who specifically, based on how a bottle makes you feel, which is individually better for you based on your body chemistry. Her voice is pleasant, an easy listen. The reason I did not give this audio 5 stars, is because there are no accompanying PDF's, the audio is not broken into chapters on my audible player, I have no idea where to go back and re-listen, especially after taking the moodcure questionnaire and now need to see what supplements to use. There are so many supplements, tips and advice, I just knew there would be a pdf. It is interesting enough to consider owning the book for reference and for need, because driving I found myself constantly needing to write things down. Again a 10 hour audio book and I will need to re-listen to get the supplements correct. Please forgive my first audible review.

Great Audio, terrible pdf!
The audio for the very valuable information is excellent, and I am doubly grateful that one can speed up the audio, as there are many stories included. I am so grateful for the audio to help anchor the power of amino acids and our moods that much more fully!
My disappointment came in seeing the unreadable pdf, which has been copied from the book in fuzzy charts that cannot be used.
Thank goodness I purchased the book as well since there is so much additional information, not included in the pdf, that is in the book.

Not ideal for audio format!
Would you try another book from Julia Ross and/or Coleen Marlo?
Julia Ross definitely. Coleen Marlo: not if I can avoid it.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Non-fiction
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator sounded like an automated voice. To the extreme that it actually made me laugh out loud. It's lucky I wanted this information because if this was a work of fiction I would have thrown in the towel.
Was The Mood Cure worth the listening time?
There are a number of quizzes, lists, and areas where you skip chapters if the info doesn't pertain to your symptoms. This doesn't work well in audio format. Also- the audiobook chapters do not correlate with the chapters in the book. The author tells you to skip to say, Chapter 5, but it is not the correct chapter.
I listened to get an overveiw but had to order the print version of the book.

Too Complicated
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I really wanted to like this book and it's solutions. But self-diagnosis/self-medicating is FAR too complicated. My head was reeling at the end. If the point of listening to this book is to make me feel like I'd have to go to this doctor myself to make head or tail of this cure, then it succeeded. It shouldn't be marketing itself as something you can just figure out.

A Godsend
I’ve only recently started to deal with depression and anxiety, whether due to age, genetics, nutrition, who knows! I found this book in a panic this morning after waking up in a very dark place. After a full day of work, mothering, and listening to this audio book at 1.5x speed, I feel empowered and hopeful. If I thought it would be received well, I’d gift it to every member of my family. Gift it to yourself. You won’t regret it.
