Excellent Insight on Narcissistic Abuse & Recovery

I really enjoyed learning more about narcissistic abuse and codependency recovery. I only wish I had read this book sooner. Whenever I have dealt with narcissists I’ve often felt so frustrated. I had no idea what I was dealing with and how best to approach them. This book has provided me with effective methods on how best to deal with a narcissist so that they do not negatively impact my mind and my personal well being.

Personally, I’ve always found it challenging to set boundaries with certain people and this book has provided me with the necessary skill set to best set my limits with anyone, especially a narcissist.

I especially liked reading Chapter 8 where Ms. Hill details and discusses the importance of self love, self care and awareness to protect myself from a narcissist.

An informative book that's easy to understand

I have been living with a narcissist for the last 4 years. It's not easy. I bought this book a few weeks ago after separating from my partner and it has helped me understand narcissism.The book has helped in the journey of Narcissistic recovery and all the emotional attachments that I had. This book is a a great tool to understand narcissists and break free from them. I recommend it.

Reading to Recover from Codependency &Narcissists

I really enjoyed this book! There is so much here that helped me to begin healing from narcissistic abuse and to begin recovery from codependency. If you want help and don't know where to begin this book will show you how to start to heal and move forward into healthy relationships. It's so important to make sure we are taking mental inventory and allowing ourselves and relationships to be healthy, and this book makes space for me to do that. If you are in codependent relationships, seeking recovery, recovering from a relationship with a narcissistic person, or are struggling in anyway in any of your relationships this book will help sort out why that might be happening and it shows you how to move forward and what healthyrelationshipslook like. Read it! Thank you to the author Linda Hill for writing and expounding about this topic & thank you to narrator Tiffany Rud for easy listening.

Best self help book

This book is a life savior. Being in a Narcissistic relationship is not something you'd wish for. But once you are in such a relationship it affects your emotions and your health. Getting this audio book was such a life saving thing. It helps in Narcissistic abuse and codependency recovery. I can also help others in recovering from such relationship.

EXCELLENT BOOK

AN EXCELLENT RESOURCE. The author of this series of books does an excellent job of explaining what codependency recovery and narcissist abuse is, helping the reader to identify them and deal with them. For those who are not lucky enough to escape such toxic relationships early enough, the damage can be significant, including the development of PTSD. This condition is a complex one that the author explains, outlines the sign of and provides cogent advice on living with and recovering from. This book is an excellent resource for anyone who even senses they may be dealing with these issues.

Very Encouraging for Recovery from the Past


I liked this book because it gave practical takes on how to start over when you need to recover. It is important to look at life in a healthy way. Especially if you were the victim of narcissistic abuse or are recovering from someone who was bad to you. It is very important to take care of your body. It helps you feel like you can be normal again. It shows you how think about Acceptance and Forgiveness, how to overcome resistance and to set new goals for yourself when you are going through recovery from a codependent situation. You must learn to live within society again, you must find balance and you must believe that you can be strong on your own again. Please read this book if you want to find some encouragement. Know that there are others out there also fighting the good fight to recover after hard times or abuse.
