Fun, quick, college romance

This is my first time listening to this one but I read it physically last year. A cute college romance between a star basketball player, Vincent and Kendall who works night shift at the school library. A perfect sports romance. The narrator did a great job!

Adorable+Warm&Fuzzy

First off this book was beautiful, I loved it! It was spicy, sweet, and an overall feel good novel. My only complaint is that I was it was a dual POV. I would have loved to see Vincent’s feeling and emotion throughout. But besides that this book was chefs kiss and Annie Crown should be VERY proud of herself, I can’t wait for her next book.

📕 Night Shift by Annie Crown caught me completely by surprise with this story 💜 I jumped on getting this audible book when a credit became available because ✨ Victoria Connolly ✨ - need we say more?? 😍

But I was UNprepared to fall head first in love with Kendall and Vincent’s sweet and sultry love story. As a 39 year old woman, I am usually more inspired to read romances of main characters closer to my age. It’s admittedly been a while since I’ve read a college-age romance…

But these two. THESE TWO. 💞
Kendall is a sweet, naive English Honors major, who has a bold run-in with shy, gorgeous basketball star Vincent among the stacks of books at the campus library.
The way Crown writes about the uncomfortable, giddy freshness of flirting, new lust, and love is soooooo lovely.

I felt like I stepped back into my feels as a 20 year old college student #nostalgia — the longing, the awkwardness, the tenderness of new experiences, the *miscommunication tropes* and the honest self-evaluation of Kendall to push past her discomfort to claim what (who) she wants. And let’s be real - the ultimate horniness of college kids 😆

I was utterly enthralled 💞 And the spicy scenes?! They were SO honest, SO sweet, and deliciously devilish 😈 — @anniecrownwrites literally PERFECTLY captured to complicated and exhilarating feelings of young love and your first sexual experiences. BRAVA! 👏🏼

And Victoria Connelly, as always, narrates with heart, humor, and HEAT! (Best male voice in the biz y’all…) 😏

Soo much story, not as much spice. I give it 1 🌶. It's a sweet story, which is not what I expected or wanted. 😅
