Kept you on the edge of your seat! We had to sit in the truck just to listen to it.

Doc's at it again.

Another solid tale in the Doc Ford series from Mr. White. Another solid adaptation of real events to inspire intrigue and clandestine action.
Now, to wait for the follow-up. Gotta see how the ending pays out.

Excellent Hurricane Drama

Loved the incredible description of the fury of what a hurricane can do. A worthy novel in this great series.

Terrible reader!

I love this author and his characters. But the reader is awful! I haven’t finished the book. I will finish it but the voice is grating and hard to understand. He doesn’t vary his character voices enough. It’s hard to tell which character is speaking.

The Storytelling was Scrumptious

The storytelling keeps the readers on their toes… never a dull moment. Plus… just loved the audiobook. George Guidall never disappoints. Thanks Randy. It was so fun to get lost in a Doc Ford novel. Great book to start the summer.

The narration ruined the audio experience. I have dozens of audio books in my library and this is the first time that the narrator was a distraction.

Fun read-lived thru this storm! Accurate, and entertaining.

Historical references, accuracy in relation to Hurricane Ian, nice twist for Doc Ford’s usual motivations.

Stupidity

Characters not doing the obvious, insulting people’s intelligence. Very disappointing. Great narrator, one of my favorites.

Doc’s propensity to fall into adventure.

Once again doc doesn’t look for situations, they tend to find him. Definitely a good book for a road trip.
