Fun Short Thriller
At under 3 hours you don’t have much to lose on this story, right? I enjoyed it, the author didn’t drag anything out unnecessarily as some tend to do. Plus the narrator did a perfect job; pace, diction, and voices were on point.
It’s one of those stories where there’s more than one bad guy at times and the line between justice and revenge, friend and enemy, sanity and insanity gets blurry. I like that as it speaks to a sophisticated understanding of human nature and makes for an interesting story.

It could have been great
The author set up several possible directions the story could go, but instead of developing one, she gives us a story summary for the last chapter and it fell flat. Lots of build up, without follow-through. Did she get bored with writing her book and just want it to be over? That’s what it felt like.

Disappointing end
Started out ok, middle was fine then it just ends and the plot twist doesn’t really have anything to do with the end. Waste of a couple hours.

I need more!
This was a great short listen for me. But I hate that it left me hanging. I want to hear more, I wanted to know what happens in the end, the story had more to tell but for what was there I really enjoyed it. There wasn't even a single spoiler, just a huge cliffhanger. Please make a part 2.
