One Perfect Book

I am ruined for other suspense/thrillers for a while. The story was incredibly well crafted and taut with excitement.
The characters felt like real people, that I actually cared if they would fly or die.
The group dynamics of the people living in the book also contributed to story so addicting, that I listened when I wasn’t sleeping or forced to participate in life.
Performance was excellent as well.
My favorite Ruth Ware thus far. Brava!

Unexpected and Exceptional

All I had to see was Ruth Ware and I preordered immediately. While I had zero interest in anything to do with a reality tv story, I knew my main lady wouldn’t let me down.

And she did not.

No spoilers but worth the read or listen. And Imogen Church is fantastic as always.

Inhaled it in 2 days

This was classic, fabulous Ruth Ware! I have been a fan of hers since her first book and eagerly wait for her book to come out every year. This one did not disappoint! Truly one of her best

Modern premise

It’s fine. A fun summer read. I wouldn’t have purchased if I had paid attention to the narrator being Imogen Church, though. I simply do not like her simpering voice. And in this book the first person sometimes changed between female characters and her acting was so similar for both that it was very confusing and I had to keep going back to see whose voice it was.

Singular and absolutely riveting

Ruth Ware has done it again, but even better! I adore this genre and its classic tropes, but this book featured a truly original plot line, fascinating, multidimensional characters, and SMART and socially poignant themes. Do not miss this book!!

THE SUSPENSE OMG

Literally on the edge of my seat through the whole book. LOVE RUTH WARE AND LOVE IMOGEN CHURCH!

Thoroughly Enjoyed!

I really enjoyed the story. While it didn’t have quite as many twists and turns as some of her previous books, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and it kept me completely engaged from beginning to end. Ruth Ware is simply my favorite mystery/suspense author. I’ll be impatiently awaiting her next book!

The writing is excellent and narrator is perfect

Ruth Ware doesn’t disappoint in her latest novel. I have read all her previous works. I can’t wait for her next novel.

Once again she delivered

I will never get enough of Ruth Ware. The Characters are always well developed at a great pace all while keeping you guessing.

Ok! I love the narrator she is one of my favorites!! I also loved the premise of the story. I had this book is my wish list for months! My problem is the language. Why!!! Why is it that horrible profanity must be used in order to tell a very good mystery??? The F-Bombs were completely over the top!! Jesus Christ's name used as an exclamation point is so totally uncalled for!! It literally ruined the book for me! I wanted to love this book I just couldn't get past the language...
So disappointed 😞
Maybe people really don't want to hear the bad language! Maybe audible will figure out how to block the profanity so those of us spending our money on interesting books can actually enjoy them🚫
