This book had me in a chokehold, literally don’t understand why it had only 4stars. This is a must read, I literally could not stop listening.
I found myself staying in my car not wanting to pause the book.
The last hour or so is a nail biter, take my review and read this book.

i read (listen) to alot of books on audible. this book is one that stays with you. its a long book but boy does it fly by! its crazy cause this kinda stuff can actually happen! and what do you do about it?! where do you turn?! dont be a nutter! listen to this book!

Wow!!!!@

Having lived through an abusive relationship then stalking, I could identify. The way this was written like a memoir made the story more real for me.
Yes, it's fiction but so many stories like it. And I'm fully expecting some cruel reviewers who live blaming the victim for not leaving.
There's many reasons victims don't leave, in my case he would have killed me. After a year of planning I made it out only to be be stalked and threatened until I was able to have it stopped.
This story is much like this and I only tell my story in this review because I know how victims are blamed abd thought of as weak. Until you've been there..
Anyway, the book was wonderfully written, terrifying and written in a " warning" style.
I found it riveting. I could think of nothing else even for quite some time after I finished it.
Really excellent, 5 stars for being creative but realistic, entertaining but educational, and engrossing in the extreme. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed every minute!

What a good ride. The author knows her stuff, she gives you a glimpse into the mind of a deranged man. Very realistic perception and tale, not for the faint of heart. The narration was excellent as well.

Couldn’t “put it down”

This book was SO good! I couldn’t stop listening. It actually made me uneasy several times (which is pretty hard to do). If you’ve ever been in an abusive relationship, I’m sure it will be triggering.

I loved everything about this read. the way she hated and expected the reader to feel the same. this was one i could not get enough of.

This is a well written story about what is an unfortunately very real and troubling topic. However, it’s long, frustrating and exhausting. It’s also very graphic, with explicit descriptions of physical, mental and sexual abuse so keep that in mind.
