Great story

This was a really good age gap story. Alisha is looking for a new start in her hometown and has a lot of feelings of abandonment. Ken is mysterious in a light way. He is a widower with two children that aren’t really his, but feels he owes them so much. This was a sweet story with forgiveness and I really enjoyed the premise. The narration was really good!

Good and entertaining.

I thought this book was really entertaining. I wouldn't have guessed it was a rom com as I thought it had some intense parts and not as many giggles as I usually find in a rom com. Could have been the way the narrator spoke that made it seem intense to me. Narrative was ok. overall, very enjoyable book.

Love this sweet story

Age gap interracial romances are my jam. I loved this story. It was sweet and the main character was a tough but unapologetically flawed. Alisha found her strength and voice with Ken’s

Page Turner

I loved this story. It kept me intrigued the entire time to see what would happen next. I loved the age gap since that’s the same amount my husband and I are apart.

Billionaire age gap romance

In the story, we follow Alisha whose boyfriend of 2 years suddenly decided that he wanted to get married but she was not the one for him. Her father passed away when she was young and her mother is busy with her new family. Heartbroken, Alisha decides to move to a small town called Sedona, where she grew up, to restart her life. As she is rediscovering this town, she stares at the mansion she has always adored in this town and that's where she meets Ken - a billionaire who deals with antiques and has recently moved to town.

Alisha is instantly drawn into Ken's charm and after an unfortunate accident, is rendered to stay back at the mansion and recover. This invites more time spent with Ken and she discovers she's falling for him, but his kids think she's a gold digger and are set to remove her from Ken's life.

Are their feelings strong enough to ignore the age gap between them or to withstand the family drama?

I enjoyed listening to this as the narrator was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed Alisha as a character. She was fierce, yet kind. Given her backstory, I was glad to see how far she'd come. i really enjoyed her friendship with her friend Chelsea. I adored Ken's belief in Alisha and giving her the boost of confidence, when she was anxious. For the story, I felt it was too rushed at parts and I wish we had more time with just the couple, where they were working on their relationship or just experiencing it. But, alas, there were too many side angles for the book to be just about the romance.

Regardless, it was a solid read a great audiobook.
