I really loved this book. I have listed to it at least three times. This book is hot and steam just like I like them.

Pierced Hearts

Yes my heart got pierced listening to this story. So many twist and turns. I don’t want to give anything away. But I highly recommend this story.

Really liked the book.

This was an interesting story with likable characters and just enough spice to it. Well worth a. Credit!

So much emotions

I love this author and listened to all her audiobooks. This maybe a spoiler. First of all, I understand we are humans and make mistakes. My question is, even though this is fiction, how can you have two kids with the woman you hate? Two kids?! This woman was also an enemy. Because he can't stand her, he had sex with her from behind? WOW. Then he had sex with her again? I wanted to like like the heroine but this is too much to enjoy for a romance. She really need to get over him and move on and forget this loser! Author, please don't write this kind of heroine. Most of romance readers are women and this type of heroine is what we avoid. This is the only book I did not write from this author. Unless, I see more like this book, this maybe my last time from this author.

I absolutely loved this, I didn’t want it to end.. I do wish she would be more involved with the kids in the end. But I did enjoy the book

Too long.

This book was 50/50. That’s all I got. It was very long winded and I chalked it up to the author wanting to build a solid back story but it was too long. 6hrs of the story is Darby holding onto a 12yr old “trauma” if we can call it that. The whole time I’m wondering why she couldn’t communicate with Pierce. Then he had two kids with someone who is arguably the worst person ever and very manipulative. Like one kid…. Okay it’s a screw up, but two?! I can’t imagine nor understand. THEN every chapter he cranks up his plan by 10 lmaoooo I was belly laughing when he went from proposing to now let’s see if we can get married in 2weeks 😂 like WHAT?! THHHHEENNN the daughter having no brain cells and being controlled by her mom I can honestly say isn’t abnormal but Darcy’s grown ass lashing out and calling that girl a psychopath crossed so many boundaries. I’m sorry, my jaw dropped and the way he basically excused her outburst was a bit much. Like you can go off and stand up for your dogie without taking diggs at a 11yr old. But again Pierce wanted a marriage with his “true love“ so there’s that but I wish she loved the man’s kids despite who their mother is.

DNF !!!!

Did not finish the book for some reasons. First and foremost, the narration was ok, at best. First time listening to both of these narrators, therefore, I did not know what to expect. However, if the narrators cannot bring these characters to life, then the storyline is lost. I had a hard time connecting and engaging with the narrators. Secondly, although it was because of the storyline that I chose to listen to this book, it just did not meet up to its summary. On paper, it sounds like a great strory but it just went in circles. It was very slow and tedious.
