Great story however

I thought it was kind of weird that they first met when she was 10 and he was 20 and they had s*x when she was 16.. but I guess when you look past the flash backs to her younger years it’s okay? That rubbed me the wrong way. But the overall story was well written. There was an HEA

Rocco is the ideal Bada**

This book was SUPERBLY performed by the narrator Aiden Snow --the man has the sexiest voice on the planet-- and while I could've listened to him read me the dictionary his voice is so great, I have to say that I really enjoyed the book! Rocco is a badass hottie! Sure, he's got some kink that won't be everyone's flavor but reading about what shaped this character makes it all understandable the way he deals with things. I really liked the leading lady too! She was tough, even though she didn't know she was, at least she learns it along the way and it's awesome to see her grow.

Rocco is actually enforcer and lover.

He lost her once because of the job

The mafia life is not what Grace wanted and Rocco knew she would be in danger so he didn't try to fight for her to stay.

When they find each other after several years apart he realizes he would rather give up the mafia than to give up Grace.

Great performances!

Loved this story and the male lead was amazing. Well worth the points. So far this series has been one of the best in terms of mafia side stories as well.

Recommend reading. I love all three of the book. The first one i got was nico,Luca.and i now i hardly can’t wait for the next one to come out. I enjoy reading about the mob, it is colorful and so real and exciting to read. The characters say it all.make the sory fantastic to read and the narrator helps brings it out more to reading. A good book to sleep on when you take meds. I love reading about nico, and Luca and their wives, and how they included them in some of the things that they have do each and everyday. To me this is what makes this book worth reading over and over again. If this is your first book, make sure you get nico, and Luca. Makes you want to be a dirty girl. But i don’t wish to be so confine.enjoy reading 5 *****

The best in the series...

I don't know what to say, I'm at a loss for words. All that comes to mind is the writing structure and scenes are a bit J.R. Ward-ish. Particularly some scenes reminded me of the BDB series in that she incorporates an entire cast of characters and as a reader can easily follow the timeline and grasp the entire story from the cleverly chained multiple character perspectives. Sub plots were great, expertly woven together and shed to light, almost effortlessly so. Clear and engaging info-bombs, back-drop inclusion.

Love all three books. The narrator did an amazing job and made me feel like I was on the sidelines watching instead of just listening.

Did I say swoon worthy yet?

I have listened to this series over and over again. Just love the characters and the narrator Aiden Snow is just the greatest. His accent for the characters makes it so much more believable . Great story line, and characters are well thought out. I hope this is not the end of this series. I would love to know what happens next for them. All are HEA.

No surprise, Aiden Snow as mafioso "Rocco", Yum.

Aiden Snow never disappoints in any of his performances. He is my favorite male narrator. Playing dangerous, sensual, damaged "Rocco", is a pure jem. Not only is Sarah Castille's story interesting, but Aiden puts it in a wonderful rich (and dark) light. When Aiden speaks Italian, omg.... The series "Ruin and Revenge" are great, entertaining, books. You will love all of them. Rocco is my favorite, but who doesn't love the damaged, underdog who wants to change his life around for true love. Not a sugary love story, but a "gritty, on the edge of your seat" love story. Also, This is coming from someone that never thought that she would even like a mafia romance. Glad I was wrong. Bellissimo!!!
