a sincere run for the money. This book was fun, interesting and more than a little inspirational. Thanks to The always enjoyable Ms. Sittenfeld for another delightful read.

Loved this

I always look forward to a book by Curtis Sittenfield, I've read or listened to them all. She never writes the same book, but never disappoints. This is a fascinating view behind the scenes of a thinly disguised SNL which takes place before and during the pandemic. There are so many interesting characters and details, this was hard to put aside, I finished it unless than 2 days and enjoyed every minute. The reader was excellent and perfect for this book.

as a huge SNL fan, that storyline was a bonus to an already great story

Disappointed

I’m usually a big fan of the books in Reese’s Book Club, but this one left a lot to be desired. A bit disappointed.

Fan of Sittenfeld

First Audible by Sittenfeld but I own several of earlier works. Another fun witty “read”.

Very entertaining and the romance was well developed! Enjoyed and looked forward to seeing where the story went!

Cute rom-com

Cute story about insecure brilliant SNL TV writer and rock star love interest during the pandemic. Agree with other reviews that the left wing politics were really unnecessary. Took the fun out of it for me. The Audible narrator was really good at least!

Attention grabbing

This kept my attention with playful banter and a great storyline. As a huge fan of SNL this was a story that I was naturally interested in. The comedy and the cynicism that lies beneath it all is very relatable. I highly recommend this book!
