an interesting isekai book, magic, adventure, and action the main character has to fight his way through this cursed land and try to save the world. a decent book

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrator also did a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job Isaac Keys!

Interesting first book

This was an interesting first book to what could be an engaging series as all the elements of an epic seem present at this point. Time will tell

Great story.

This is a great story and world.
It went by so quickly that I thought I missed something. It was just so good that time flew.
Not your typical HaremLit and power structure.
Book 1 leaves you with a lot of questions and a strong desire for the 2nd book now.
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

Fun story

I thought the magics running through song a unique take. The world is in flux, and there are lots of things to do.

I look forward to the next book where we will hopefully see more machines and have the runic lord get better and stronger.

good start

pretty good start to a new series. it felt like it took a little bit to hit its stride but by the end I was looking for more. you'll be hard pressed to find a better narrator than hastings. I will definitely pick up the next one.

Mc is lead around by his nose for the whole book.
He is not a strong lead.
Forgettable storyline after the beginning. Felt cut and dry.
The whole thing felt unconvincing.

Very good

I liked the first book of this series. Some character interactions were suspect and no one likes a massive cliffhanger. With great narration it was very good overall

Boring, no idea whats going on

I have made it to about chapter 5 or chapter 6, so far this has been rough, the narration isnt very good, and the story isnt grabbing my attention. Maybe its because i am so used to duel narration these days that single voice actors just wont work for me, totally possible.

The story so far is blah, couldnt tell you anything about the MC or the world, very little character building or world building. What I do know about the MC is he is a grade A puss, he gets this Gem that opens a portal and he is all excited then he gets there and is nearly pissing in his pants wanting to go home.

I might return to this at a later date and give it another shot, but as of now, this one goes into the wasted Credit pile.
