Epic conclusion!!!

WOW just WOW!! What an intense and at times edge of your seat story that is at the same time an epic romance. I was so totally hooked on Danny and Sam’s story with Rebel Hearts that I had to have Savage Hearts right away. First let me just say that the narration is fantastic and Lili and Nelson absolutely SLAYED their portrayals of Sam and Danny!!! ❤️This book takes them on the rest of their journey that started in the first book. They are both such strong and complex characters despite how young they are. You feel their strength like it is a tangible thing. Because of everything they go through you tend to forget their ages while reading.
I absolutely devoured it and just loved it so much!! I was freaking out for a while there and really hoping and wishing for the best! I wasn’t sure what I was going to do there for a few agonizing moments! I felt like I was right there with them! So tragic yet romantic, and ultimately such a satisfying end to their amazing story!!
“We are one heart for now and always”.

Absolute Perfection!

I could not have asked for a better series to tell Danny and Sam's story. Their's isn't a fairy tale romance, it is filled with dark, dirty secrets, lies and deception and pain and heartbreak. But through it all Danny and Sam persevere and grow stronger. The bond that exists between them two of them cannot be broken by man or deed and that is shown time and time again throughout their journey.

I fell in love with these characters long before I realized it was happening and it brought happy tears to my eyes to see the conclusion of their story play out the way it did.

Epic love with a great ending!

I loved this duet. Danny and Samantha put me though all the feels, and that doesn't happen very often with me. Their epic romance was awesome, and their rough patches made it even sweeter.

The family dynamics were very interesting. They show the direct influences on Danny and Samantha. Though very different, there were so many similarities. Their independent spirits, giving nature, drive and determination to make a strong future for themselves is so inspiring.

I don't want to give any spoilers, but the way Danny wouldn't give up on Sam, and although they were dealing with struggles and personal demons, they were always thinking about each other, and their love never wavered. More angsty than I usually care for, but totally worth it. I got to the point where I didn't want it to end. And what an ending it was!!

Evil never wins

We pick up where we left off in Rebel Hearts. Sam is determined to make the 4 men who hurt her pay for what they did. She makes a plan and sets it in motion. Little does she know that Danny is doing the same thing. When they discover what they are each up to they are once again a team and fighting for the same justice.

This is a different kind of love story,there is heartache and tragedy. It's not sweet, it's harsh at times but it does show what you will do and the distance you will travel to help the one you love. I loved Sam and Danny and was with them until the end.

Nelson Hobbs and Lili Valente were perfect telling Danny and Sam's story. They brought the emotion needed for these two.

Review: Rebel Hearts 2: Savage Hearts

Savage Hearts by Lili Valente is the second and concluding book in her Rebel Hearts series. This is the story of Danny and Samantha. We first met Danny in the To The Bone series as Caitlin's younger brother. You do not have to read the previous series to thoroughly enjoy Danny & Sam's story.

Picking up from the cliffhanger ending in book one, Rebel Hearts, Danny and Sam find themselves separated. A lot has happened in the time they have been apart - they have both had their own journey of recovery from the secrets Sam was hiding. Their journey, unexpectedly, finds them both in the same small Costa Rican town in search of revenge. Sam wants it done and has no plans beyond that, but Danny wants it done and then wants to move forward, together, never having to look back. When these two put their minds to it, anything is possible but will their souls be able to recover from their actions? Loved it! Enjoy!

The audio narration was engaging and on-point for the characters. Both performers managed to be both vulnerable, fierce and vengeful at the right time throughout this story when needed. They really brought Danny & Sam to life!
