I'm going to start off by saying I'm a sucker for Accents 🥵💦 and @logan_anare_vo, @lexievans_audiobook_narrator, @narratortylergriffin, @duran.troy were 😗🤌🏻 they had the best Irish accents that  made you swoon!! I loved the grunts, the growls, the angry words, it was perfect.

Riordan is a  Irish mob boss, and Priscilla is a former Irish mob boss daughter and now an undercover FBI agent. She poses as a Russian sub for the Russian mobsters who are at war with the Irish mob. Pris and Riordan have years long "unresolved" feelings. For him, it was always Priscilla - and it always will be. Their chemistry is palpable, and I really enjoyed listening to their story. I can't wait to read/listen to all the books in this series 💚

I loved Riordan's story. The banter and emotion between him and Priscilla was top notch. The way the narrator protrayed Riordan's shock and suprise and sarcasm was absolutely brilliant, especially when reading Priscalla's romance books. 😂☠️

This was my first time reading a book by Deborah Garland, I’m not sure it will be the last though. 

Riordan was probably one of my favorite book boyfriends now. His love and respect for Prissy as a teenager, and then the OTT personality when he realized it was her truly was amazing. Not going to lie, his accent? I was MELTING for Riordan.

Prissy was a little annoying. Maybe it was just the narrator or maybe it was the character, but she was so back and forth about what she wanted IMO. I understand why she was back and forth, she wanted revenge, but she also wanted the life she dreamt of with Riordan.

NOT hating on the book, and NOT hating on the characters, because I thoroughly enjoyed this book (listening to it while unpacking my new kitchen), but I guess I was just wanting more of them being together.

I need more of that man’s sexy accent!

The O'Rourke's #2, is Easily My #1

Riordan is HERE!!! And he leaves absolutely NOTHING behind. Maybe my favorite in the Astoria series, and it is AMAZING as an audiobook. Priscilla's strength throughout and determination to succeed in her own career gives us one badåss FMC.

Narrator Logan Anara could read me the back of a cereal box and I'd desperately ask for more!!
Lexi Evans, who narrates Priscilla, brings each of Priscilla's voices to life.

I'm loving these books all over again. Audiobooks really do being the story to life in the best way!

This was a spicy mafia romance! I love Deborah’s writing and anything she writes I’ll read it!

Forced Marriage Enemies To Lover's Romance

Sleeping with the Enemy by Deborah Garland is a forced marriage enemies to lover's romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lexi Evans, Logan Anare, Tyler Griffin, and Troy Duran. This is the third book in the Astoria Royals series.

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Riordan and Priscilla. It was messy but I couldn't help but root for them. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Deal with the Devil to be released on audio so I can get Lachlan and Katya's story.

Lexi, Logan, Tyler, and Troy did an amazing job on the narration. They all really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a mafia romance, forced marriage romance, or enemies to lover's romance.

Hot!

This book was very entertaining. I really enjoyed the structure of the story. When there was spice, it was HOT. I loved how much Riordan was obsessed with her Pris. I loved that they had feelings from their past and meet later in life again. When he realizes who she is....and that moment... he has to have her!

Best part of this is : No cheating. No cliffhanger. HEA guaranteed

Logan Anare & Lexi Evans did an amazing job narrating this book! The Irish and Russian accents were so amazing pulling me into the story it was immersing. Tyler Griffin and Troy Duran were amazing also as side characters!

When Riordan is at a meeting with the Russians he sees a beauty under the table and can't stop fantasying about her. When that mystery woman comes out of nowhere and takes a bullet for Riordan,he knows he can't let her go no matter what.Turns out the beauty is a blast from the past who is now undercover.

Priscilla's need for revenge was strong and over took her at times but I think Riordan was her calm in the storm and overall their second chance was 5 stars with plenty of spice 🔥🖤

Good story, bad narration

The story was really great but the female narrator had horrible accents. I cringed every time she did her Russian accent. The male narrator was amazing though.

Audiobook review: narrated by Logan Anare and Lexi Evans
This series is full of wonderful characters and exciting plots. This one was amazing in large part due to a powerfully independent and fierce FMC. Priscilla/Pashta is a survivor turned warrior that I was rooting for from the very start. Riordan’s character was well balanced between an alpha protective MMC and a supportive partner allowing his woman to shine. I love the struggle each goes through as their relationship progresses. Once again we see how important family is as they all work together to look out for each other and their partners.
Wonderful narration with a wide range of accents. Both narrators really brought the emotions to the forefront and performed this story so well. I have Ben loving this series on audio!!
