I’d never be able to compete with that, so I pushed her away instead. It was easy when she lived hours away, and I didn’t have to see her every day, but then she moved in with us. Now, I’m screwed. From her singing in the shower every morning, dancing in the kitchen while she makes coffee, and doing yoga in our living room, I can’t stop thinking about her in all the wrong ways.

Man... this book had me all in my feels. I was crying like a baby. this was so well written I felt all their love, joy, and heartache. I'm sad to part with them but I will definitely keep and re-read many times to come!

I LOVED IT!!!
I loved everything about it!!! One part in the plot was relatable to me and had me in tears. Is there another book coming for israel and Callie? That could be interesting. I could see that there would be some conflicts between the two of them but it would make for a good story. Israel could make for a strong character and if my instincts are correct so could Callie's fiery demeanor. Just a thought. Thank you for sharing your story

I am going to miss these 2 so much now that the books are done.
Ms. Ryan is a master storyteller, wise woman and poet. I have never read a love story quite like this. A relationships so deep and unconditional- one we all wish we had. And I appreciate the ups and downs and challenges they face together. I also like that she attacks hard social truths and gives them voice. This is a brilliant trilogy- don’t be fooled by the label of romance. This is deep and satisfying. The audiobooks are great too. Very well done. They really grew on me.
