Resumen del Editor

In this third—and final—book in the Strung series, Randall Morgan and David Pearson face their biggest challenge yet.

In the form of a half-empty IV bag once connected to Randall's son, they have found a means that might be used to fight the evil that has infected the world.

But the question remains whether they can bring themselves to use it. Because during the massacre at Redwater, their enemy finally revealed his true face, and it looks so damn innocent.

What a great story!

I got through all three books in under two weeks listening part-time. It's a simple story but the performance takes you there. There was a twist I never saw coming. The performance is excellent! If all of Per Jacobson's stories are as entertaining as this, then he now has a new fan.

Good story, but… (spoilers)

I enjoyed the story overall, but there were too many questions left unanswered at the end. The biggest questions (in my mind) are where did these parasites even come from in the first place, and what’s to stop them from just reinfecting and taking over people’s brains again? I’m also not sure why this was a trilogy. Each book was very short and should’ve been combined into one book. My guess is that they will probably combine it into a box set for one credit later on like they’ve done with other series.

Good story, terrible writing

I liked the storyline and I was genuinely intrigued to see it through to the end. However, the writing style seemed very amateur. The author uses metaphors and similes excessively like a young author who has just learned what those are and is trying to fit as many in as he can for bonus points. He describes things in detail that don't need describing like every detail of someone opening a car door and he repeats things too much. All these extra unnecessary words drag out the storyline without adding meaning to it and again feels like a student trying to meet a minimum word count. This trilogy could have been condensed into one powerful punch of a book or a better trilogy would have expanded more on the relationship building and less on describing mundane tasks.
