A book that wakes you up
This book is great because if might make you realize how your life plans might be outdated and flawed. It might throw light on areas that maybe you thought made some sense (such as the question "do I really need to work this hard?"). The ideas are not new, but the way Tim Ferriss puts them together and presents them, makes you get excited about the possibilities. A warning, though, you have to get past the style of the author, and ignore what might seem like constant bragging. Just listen to the entire book and take what applies to your life.

Tim Ferriss is the MAN!
This is perhaps one of the most impacting and life-changing book that I have ever read on pursuing your dreams, goals, and passions. Tim gives a very clear blueprint for designing your ideal lifestyle and the tips, tricks, and shortcuts that he provides are astounding. Perhaps the best 22 bucks I've ever spent. I've recommended it to everyone I know and many whom meet. If you're ready to get out of the Matrix, this book is for you.

Listening again and again
I had read some negative reviews of this book and had my doubts, but I found it very enjoyable to read, but most importantly, it gave me a whole bunch of new tools and strategies to use in my life. Except for family requirements (kids in school), I am someone who can take full advantage of the way Tim proposes we work. I have to listen again as it is well stocked with good advice. You kind of need to take notes as you listen and I did it almost entirely on my bike. His accompanying website is an awesome addition to the process. This is one of those books that has started to change my outlook and the way I manage my life. Much appreciated.

a must read
we have been going through the rat race all wrong. I learned that even just wanting to work for myself needs to be revamped. I love the idea of mini retirements. I just wish there were better "VA" options in the US. I don't like the idea and sensing more and more jobs overseas.
