Nice Thriller

I chose this rating because this book is very well written. The translation carried over very well. The depth of characters and of personalities is quite thorough.

great story

make sure you start listening on a Friday night,cause this story will make you want to listen all weekend, without a pause! It is dark,very dark,but I wasn't able to function until I listened to all of it!

Suspenseful psychological thriller.

I could not put this down. The story is deep and full of twists and turns. Highly recommend. Very graphic but will have you on the edge of your seat.

The descriptions of characters and settings are very good. The plot is VERY dark, but well done. I think that I would have liked the ability to go back and check on facts/times but was able to follow without. I don't know that all the twists and turns made sense, but overall I enjoyed the book!

not a bad story, had some really good parts but also so many unnecessary plot items and a few unresolved issues. pretty twisted crime story but could have been at least 50% shorter in length.

so many evil people is frightening.

Excellent listen, but some of the material can be disturbing in relation to child abuse.
I truly enjoyed the novel but found it difficult at times to keep up with the numerous characters and locations.

10/10!! Definitely worth the credit

I’ve already read this book in its physical form. Buying the audiobook so I can listen as I reread it!! The content is tough, but it is worth the listen/read. Truly well written.

Highly impressed

This book gripped me from the start - and then everything you thought you knew was flipped. So many twists and turns. I can't recommend this highly enough - especially if you loved Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series.

Good but confusing

This was a nice long story. I was a little concerned about how it would translate for me being in the United States and it being a Swedish novel but that was not a problem. The about of personalities and characters and only one narrator who used a similar tone with every character made it rather hard to follow. I had to double back and register to a lot of parts because I was getting very lost. If I had it in book for I would have found it perhaps easier to follow or would have made note in margins? It wasn’t a bad book but I never felt fully engrossed and riveted, largely because I was too confused. A little let down that the ending was not quite an exciting ending after all the build up.
