who can compete with this mans' words?
Whether I agree or not, this guy has a true gift for communicating. Having said that, I agree with most of his thoughts and ideas. This was a delight. C S Lewis was pretty good, Chesterton is better.

Did cavemen act like what we are told?
Chesterton has an amazing mind and if you dare to listen, or read, your assumptions of what you learned in school, facts or stories you’ve taken for granted will be challenged greatly. My second time through and it was as enjoyable as the first time. Recommend this author and this presentation highly. Well done. Respectfully Bill Steinwedell

An all time classic
Chesterton's views on history may not be entirely historically accurate, but he also never claims it is. In this wonderful book, he paints for us an alternative to the materialistic, athiestic history we are all taught growing up. This book made me stop seeing history as a depressing series of random cause and effect with no real impact on us today, and to start seeing it as the greatest story ever told. I cannot recommend this book enough.

G. K. Chesterton, brilliant philosophical and theological insight.
The only criticism I can levy toward Chesterton is that it requires a dictionary at the ready to work your way through his writings. My shortcoming, not his. There have been a myriad number of ideologies throughout history and he has concisely examined many in a rational understandable manner. For anyone desiring an apologetically sound understanding of “Christendom” and its ideological and historical relationship to humanity, G. K. Chesterton and “The Everlasting Man” are essential.
