Great even second listen!

I thought I had listened to this story before but it was a long time ago. The story was enticing this time as well. Character development was excellent and the plot came together and unveiled itself perfectly. Such a great twist at the end!!

Narration was ok sometimes it’s better to not to try to convey a different gender!

Second time reading

I love Mary Kubica's style and decided to re read this drama-suspense story again. Good read, good narrator, great author.

It keeps you wondering

I like the way back and forth the book took us. How the characters are build up and how you just so invested on them by the end.

Another good novel by Mary Kubica!

Another interesting storyline with likable characters and lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing right up to the end!

Wasted credit

I should’ve listened to the reviews. It’s not that this isn’t a great story it really I , it’s just that I’ve read or listened to it before and I don’t believe this is a new story I’m all for recycling but not audiobooks because this one’s definitely not a new story. Audible don’t do this we readers can spot this. Anyway I can’t return or exchange my credit it’s too late.

Kept me guessing

Great book. Narrator less than expected. Had to really keep up with the before and afters.

Boring and predictable

Saw many people talk about what a great book this with with a surprising twist. As I listened I kept waiting for something to happen besides what I could already predict- hoping to be surprised. Alas, no surprise. It was boring and blah.

Misleading - Not a New Book

I kept thinking this audio book sounds familiar and it is not new. As I read the few comments realized it's not new.

I am actually livid they can re release a book as new and because I like the author, just buy it because it shows just released July 30th. Now I've wasted a credit on a book I've already bought. I will be contacting Amazon/Audible about this.

Too little too late

I thought the characters lacked luster & the twist was too little too late. Frankly, it was boring.

Deceiving

This is not a new release. And, audible is happy to let you pay for it twice.
