If you don’t know the history you can’t change the future. This book had me looking up people as I listened. The GOP does not want us in their party unless we are subservient to the white MANs will.
If this doesn’t make you vote nothing will.
Nothing is done by accident, evil is planned out. The GOP set a strategy over a century ago and has been staying on the path.
Democracy is at stake, Will you sit on the sidelines until all your rights are gone or will you take this knowledge from The Grift and correct course
Don’t be tied to a political party, be tied to what is right for our people. Currently that is NOT the GOP.
Withholding your vote is the same as sticking your head in the sand. Both will get you nowhere.

Enlightening

I loved the chronology of the story from Frederick Douglass on. I learned so much more about how despicable Lincoln was that I would have never learned anywhere else. Clay’s personal journey of how he came to start voting was so inspiring and the need to teach civics in school is so necessary. I loved this book 📕. Can’t wait for the next one!

OMG. I do not normally read political books. The title piqued my interest. My mother always spoke to me about black history and I remember when I was 12 she told me that black people were mostly Republicans but, switched parties. I never knew why. Thank you Clay for breaking it down for me and providing the Why… This was an awesome read. Congrats Clay for making it New York Times Best Seller’s List! We have work to do.
