Couldn’t get into it. Generic beginning.
At least they didn’t kill off the parents. Narrator sounded like it was a text book guidance counselor rendition. Story lacking depth of detail into other woods, generic and repetitive on they/them, and generic love interest. Not able to captivate reader in first two chapters to want to continue reading/listening.
