Excellent read
The storyline was great, the main character was great and the narrator was even better! The narrator can definitely make or break an audio book. And this one far exceeded any expectations! She was able to do many different voices without it seeming forced or unnatural. Can’t wait for the next book!

Entertaining slow burn
I wasn't a fan of the reader, though it was improved when I sped it up to 1.15 speed (something I've never done before). She just spoke really slowly and awkwardly. Multiple times I wondered if it were actually an AI voice. She didn't breath much emotion into the performance.
The story itself was good but very slow. There are plot twists and now I'm extremely excited for the second book. The characters are really great and I care about them. Worth a read!
