At the meeting point somewhere in far west Texas, they meet, both surprised and happy for the unplanned meeting. The judge tells them, actually orders them, to go on about their reunion while he stays in the hotel. He's tired of the constant scrutiny and wants some time alone to rest. Both marshals protest but the judge has the authority and orders them away. While they are gone, someone breaks in and kidnaps the judge. Jubal and Branson hurry to track the kidnappers. So the chase begins.

JUBAL STONE - U.S. MARSHALL

This is the 59th Book in this series. This is the first audiobook that has been made. I have read all of Jubal Stone on digital. I have enjoyed every book. Jubal is a no nonsense Marshall. This book was as good as the rest. Jubal teams up with Branson Hawk another Marshall to keep a judge safe. The Judge was an old set in his ways cranky hard to get along with Judge. There is several attempts on his life. I enjoyed the story line. I do like it better when there in Waco and Jubal has his regular deputys with him. A lot of times he teams up with other Marshalls. There is 65 Books in the Jubal Stone series. But you have to read them. I did enjoy this and had to buy it when I saw this on audio but a credit is high for a book that is only Three and a half hours long. Christopher Wilson did a good job narrating this book. I did listen to it on 1.2 speed. I thought regular was a little slow. 1.2 was perfect for me. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
