a great book!

I learned so much from listening to this book. I am a dog person and it was so nice to hear about so many other dog people. they're just as nutty as I am. good work, thank you for the book

Loved it!

A must read for dog parents. I’m a fan of the golden ratio and was so excited to support gr mom. I really loved this book. It deepened my appreciation, love, and understanding of my dog and made me want to be a better mom to her and helped me understand how to do that! Made me laugh out loud and tear up. Highly recommend!

Read this book if you have a dog!!

Very well researched look at the bond between dogs and people in their lives. Many entertaining stories with great tips and insights into dog behavior along with the science to back it up. Do not read Chapter 13 on your way to work or a happy event like a wedding. You will have puffy eyes and a tear-streaked face. But worth it.
Bonus: For those who love the Golden Ratio Podcast, you get to hear stories about the Golden Ratio squad and a clip of them barking as well as GR mom narrating. Plus a PDF with guides for pet owners.
Cons: Would have been better with a second narrator to break up the science and the stories.

dogs rule

I loved this book and it has been such a help in exploring the bond between my dogs and me.

i laughed, i cried, & i learned.

i really love this book. it taught me things about my dog that i didn’t know. but most importantly, it confirmed through science what i suspected - my dog loves me just as much as i love her. it’s a really really special book, with heartwarming stories mixed with research.

a lot of audiobooks are almost painful to listen to, but this way a joy to listen to.

Absolutely fabulous!!

A must read for anyone that has a dog and for those that are thinking about getting one.

this book will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will make you want to strengthen your already strong bond with your dog even more. Beautifully written, and with personal anecdotes to go along with scientific research, this book explains how dogs enrich our lives and vice versa. Highly recommended!!

Spectacular

I loved this book. I laughed, I cried, I related. Loving a pet is both extremely easy - second nature to breathing - and devastatingly difficult. This was nothing short of perfection. I loved the science, the stories and the special appearance by the Squad.

Perfect book for anyone that loves dogs

This book is a great combination of heartwarming stories about the bond we have with our dogs and the science behind dogs behavior. The author narrates and does a fabulous job. Highly recommend this book in either audio format or hard copy. The hard copy would make a great gift for any dog lovers in your life.

For the love and science of dogs

If you have a dog, if you love dogs, if you're curious about dogs, then you'll probably be interested in this book. Jen Golbeck is a scientist, and she loves and understands dogs. What a wonderful idea to examine our connection to our dogs, and the authors do that in a way that is compelling as well as informative. The narration only enhanced the information. I'll revisit this book as a resource to better understand my dog.
