predictable

you know exactly what's going to happen and there's absolutely no surprise. it's not horrible but it's not great either

Predictable but still a decent read

The narrators did a really good job making this entertaining. Even though I pretty much knew how the story would go pretty early on, it was still a quick engaging read.

Very Good Book

I enjoyed this audiobook. It was a believable story. The characters were good. I didn’t like the husband. It was a little predictable but it didn’t change me liking the book. The narration was good. Though as usual the male narrator probably shouldn’t do female voices. I’ve heard very few male narrators that should.

Pretty Predictable

This is an ok listen. Pretty predictable for what it was. It’s currently included in the audible plus catalogue which is good because it’s not one I would have paid for.

Decent plot

It reminded me of a lifetime movie in a book, sometimes some corny moments but overall good and had good twists toward the middle and end

You won't regret this book. I couldn't stop listening. The ending!!!! OMG I didn't want the book to end.

Boring and predictable

This book had good reviews but I didn’t think the writing or story was at all unpredictable nor realistic! Good start, but fell apart in the extraneous, unnecessary details. The manikin like response of the wife and the switch to the husband without pause towards the end of the story! The happy ending was expected but very unrealistic and was left wanting more explained facts. While the reading was good, the readers were left with a stilted storyline and boring material that I no way can be taken seriously.

Entices you to keep listening

Good story, I enjoyed the twists, and the fact it didn’t have a sappy, fairytale ending.

Great Title and Plot

Great title and plot. There were holes in the writing and some things didn't add up or make sense. It still kept me listening and entertained. Mostly sad and dark but there were some good parts too.
