Lots of prescience for its age
Wells nails a lot about class dynamics even now 130 years later. The end is charming with its whimsy but the meat of the story is it’s commentary, which is as good as any written today.

Yes, this is an easy listen and is a great, classic book. It wasn't what I expected, but I enjoyed where the story went.

Could have definitely finished this book in one go. It was easy to digest and enlisted beautiful imagery.

Great Clasic
