I liked the story

Started off a little slow but I’m glad I idk with it. KL Slater is a great writer. Also the narrator was amazing!!!

Unexpected

I started this book not expecting the outcome. It definitely surpassed my expectations & I wasn’t disappointed. It was a bit slow to start but picked up and kept me listening.

Twisty Tale

This is a believable who done it, masterfully read that kept me “turning the pages” until the final conclusion.

Slater has once again delivered a captivating thriller, expertly narrated by the talented Lucy Price-Lewis. This intricate murder mystery unfolds chapter by chapter, presenting multiple characters’ perspectives and keeping listeners on the edge of their seats. With its zigzagging plot, surprising twists, and stunning conclusion, this audiobook demands close attention to detail. The pairing of Slater's writing and Price-Lewis’ narration is perfect. Originally available as part of Audible Plus catalogue at no additional cost, I recently purchased it for $6.99 after several years, a testament to its enduring appeal. Not Much Foul Language

I appreciate reads that don’t contain cursing or sexual content, and this one passed my tests. The ending seemed a bit romantic or contrived. They emotions of the widow where well described and took me back to my own experience. I will look for more from this author.

I dug it.

The narrator did an excellent job. I could easily tell the different characters. The writing was done well. Some of it was pretty predictable but just enough twists to still keep you interested anyway :)

I enjoyed this book. I could feel the emotions. I recommend this book. An example of faith in the people you love when it seems like nothing makes that possible.

Great story

I’m glad I ignored the negative reviews and listened to the book. It was full of unexpected twists and turns, and yet, each twist was quite believable. Narrator did a great job as well.
