Emotional

This was an intense and incredibly emotional story.
Otto & Raven have both suffered through the same trágedy but from different perspectives, they both have great & pain from their loss.
Otto has always been there for Raven, keeping her Sage, and bringing her peace.
The absolute love & chemistry between these two is intense & beautiful.
This age gap, brothers best friend, forced proximity, romance was so intense & beautiful. I love the relationship between them, how Otto tried so hard to resist, but couldn’t. He was head over heels for her, protecting her, giving her peace & loving her fully.

Love this series!!!

I loved book one of the series and this book did not disappoint! Otto and Raven killed it and I cannot wait for the next book.

Under an Endless Moon is full of dark twists and turns, deep devotion, and intense sexual chemistry.  Raven and Otto have been in each other’s lives for years.  As her older brother’s friend, he had watched over her when she was a child.  Now she’s grown into a strong, independent woman in spite of the trauma she’d experienced and neither of them can continue denying the attraction growing between them.  But can Otto protect her from the danger that’s hunting her and the darkness that drives him to seek revenge?
 
Desiree Ketchum’s performance was so good not only with Raven’s many layers throughout the timeline, but as all the guys.  Her man voice is spot on!  Connor Crais sank deep into Otto’s persona to give the perfect “burly bear” vibe to his performance.
 
With that bomb dropped at the end of the epilogue I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Amazing!

This book was so worth the wait. I can't wait to hear or read the rest of the series.

Otto and Raven

These two were everything. The angst, the tension, the mutual pining? So good. And they both had their own demons, their own secrets, but they were there for each other through everything.

Raven was so strong, and she was so sweet (and sassy), despite what she’d been through.

Otto. This man. The way he put his whole heart into his family, his friends, his loved ones. Ah! He was so dang protective, especially over Raven, and not just her physical state.

The little twist — I seriously did not expect it. But wow.

I loved these two and their story. It was angsty and emotional, and it was full of healing.

Also, I can’t wait for the next book, because that little hint at what’s coming? It sounds great.


Narration Style: Dual

The narrators were perfect for their character! They truly brought the emotions and characters to life. And their performance made this even more of an emotional but beautiful story.

Loved Otto and Raven!

Otto Hudson is as loyal as it gets. That means he will do anything to protect those he loves. ANYTHING. So, when Raven Tayte, hist best friend's little sister needs a place to stay, he immediately steps up and tells her she can stay with him at his place. Actually, that is dangerous - for him - because Otto has been fighting all these feelings he has towards Raven for the past seven years. They've always been close, but when he came out of prison and found her all grown up, she is the star of all his thoughts.

Raven has loved Otto since she didn't know what that meant. He's been her rock, her protector and the only person she's ever ever truly felt safe with. Now, living under the safe roof, she will make him see her in a different way.

Otto's past is dark, his soul is tormented. Raven is a survivor from unspeakable things. Both carry secrets that just be too much to keep, especially when these secrets are coming for them...

Oh my, Amy! I was wrapped into this emotional and suspenseful story from beginning to end, "Moonflower" and "Burly Bear" are so meant for each other that you root for them from the start.

Book 2 in the Moonlit Ridge series, it can be read as a standalone but you do catch up with beloved characters, even from Redemption Hills.

The narration is done dual style with Desirée Ketchum and Connor Crais flexing all their acting muscles. Raven is vulnerable but fun and determined and passionate and we see it all in Desirée's performance. Oh, give Connor a badass, morally gray, tough as nails obsessed hero and he'll make you fall for him hook, line and sinker. Phenomenal performances!

I loved going back to this small town, visiting with these characters. Yes, they do some pretty dark things, but you can't blame them. A wonderful age gap, brother's best friend, protective hero, "it's always been you", found family tale that will have you swooning.

oh i absolutely loved the narration for this one. there was absolutely no one who could have been better for otto. connor did an incredible job with the dynamics of his performance & showing all the ranges of emotion otto goes through in this story. desireé was *phenomenal* as raven. i loved the way she did all the side character voices & managed to give such a believable job during the suspense moments i was so invested. definitely recommend the audio the narrators killed it.

OTTO IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE OH MY GOD. the way this book was one of the absolute best *it’s always been you* tropes i’ve ever read. i adored these two with my whole chest. i was so invested in these two. i was rooting for them hard in book one & their story was perfection! i loved the forbidden element & the suspense was so dang good. the storyline had me sucked in. i absolutely couldn’t put it down. 10/10 no freaking notes. already planning my reread.

Great audiobook!

I enjoyed this book. Raven had such a rough childhood. She’s such a strong person. She’s been living with her brother, but decides it’s time to move out and figure out life on her own. I loved watching Raven and Otto together. He’s always been her protector and she’s not afraid of his touch. Watching their relationship grow and transform was great. Watching Otto realize that he could let someone in and didn’t have to push everyone away because of his lifestyle. I also enjoyed seeing all the characters together as one big family.

The narrators did a great job! I enjoyed this audiobook and how they brought the characters to life. I like that both audiobooks used different narrators and can’t wait for the next one!

Perfect performances for the perfect story

Another amazing story from one of my faves! A.L. has a gift for mixing humor, suspense, and romance in the best way. And she creates the best found family!
I adored Otto and Raven as side characters in the first in this series, and couldn’t wait for their turn. It definitely did not disappoint! The tension, chemistry and mutual pining had me hooked. Their love for each other was evident on every page. Together and separately, they are phenomenal characters. I loved Raven’s sweet but sassy personality, and Otto is the perfect combination of protective golden retriever and morally grey hero.
I always enjoy flashbacks in stories, and the ones here detailing their past were heartbreaking and crazy! But so good.

The audiobook is narrated by Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum, who I thought were absolutely perfect. They can pull off any kind of character flawlessly, and are two of my favorites to listen to!

Let me just say this right off the bat: Under an Endless Moon deserves ALL. THE. STARS!! I’m completely obsessed with Otto and Raven’s story—it pierced straight to my heart, left me breathless, and yes, it may or may not have brought on a few happy tears. From the very first page, this book had me in a chokehold and didn’t let go. And the spice? Oh. My. Gosh. A.L. Jackson really took things up a notch with this one—make sure you’re ready for a cold shower because the heat in this book will leave you blushing. 😳

Otto Hudson has spent years keeping his best friend's little sister, Raven Tayte, at arm's length. But when Raven needs a place to stay, Otto can’t help offering his home—even if it's a temptation they both know they shouldn't give in to. As they navigate living under the same roof, their undeniable chemistry builds with a tension that feels both intense and inevitable. The Moonlit Ridge series keeps getting better, and while every reader will resonate differently with the individual stories, From Here to Eternity set an undeniably high bar. But I think A.L. Jackson said "checkmate" when she typed The End on Under an Endless Moon. Otto and Raven’s story doesn't just meet From Here to Eternity's emotion, spice, angst, and suspense—it takes it to a whole new level.

And that’s exactly why I’ll forever be a diehard fan of A.L. Jackson’s writing. Her stories are angsty, steamy, and packed with all the heart-wrenching, heart-healing goodness I crave. Her storytelling is simply phenomenal—she knows how to break your heart, heal it, and leave you craving more. The first two books of this series have been absolutely phenomenal, and I cannot wait to see where she takes us next. If you love forbidden romances with found-family vibes, morally gray heroes, and a touch of danger, Under an Endless Moon is an absolute must-read. Trust me, you won't want to put it down!
