Robby’s father ekes out a living in the coal mines as his Italian-born father did before him. But, despite an unwritten law, Robby loves Julie, the mine owner’s daughter. Julie encourages Robby to escape the coal mines and earn a safer living.
Can Julie and Robby overcome the traditions of society? Can their love survive their cultural boundaries?
