As of today, this is definitely the scariest book I've read! 5 stars!!!
One of the best horror novels of 2024. This book will scare you—repeatedly. Hopefully, there will be many more novels, from the author. Keeping my fingers crossed.

This was such an original story and truly so anxiety inducing in the BEST way. If you like the movie oculus and the feeling of thinking one thing is happening when it’s truly another then you will love this book.

Literally - what just happened?
I have no idea what just happened, but that was the creepiest book I’ve read in a long time! Loved the psych aspect of it for sure. Maybe could’ve used a little more tying up of the loose ends but that’s part of it I guess! The narrator was a little breathy in my opinion at times. Also I don’t know what that weird digital noise was…Some cussing, a little bit of gore but that makes it horror. Yes, we need more from this author!

Brainbendingly Bizarre
I loved this book! It's a very twisty, crazy, brain-warping good time! The narration is fantastic! I am just left with sooooo many questions! It's like one of those movies you're totally engrossed in until the very end and you're left going, "That's it?"

Very spooky but you can’t put it down
Honestly, I was not sure what to expect with this book. Definitely do not let the cover for you. This seemed like just your normal McFadden thriller until you actually start turning the pages and reading the story. gave me goosebumps in certain parts and total heartbreak at the end. I couldn’t imagine going through that. High recommended.
