Great Box Set!

Stephanie Foxe is a new author to me. I loved this series! This was an amazing and captivating journey. The characters are great, the friendship amazing. This series is complex, well written, and twisted. Laurel Schroeder did an amazing job with the narration. I love her voice!

Great Story!!!

These were good books. I am glad I did not let the first review sway me. The narration was fine and did not take away from the books. Enjoyable series!!!

enjoyable

I enjoyed this magic filled adventure and it's the first one I've read where a 1/2 witch can steal magic so original. I did expect a better battle at the end for such a long buildup to it though.
the narration was ok a bit stop and start robotic sounding
I also heard a couple spots where beta readers or editors should have caught repeated phrases.
all in all though I say this is a good box set

Not the narrators best work

I’m not sure why I didn’t love these books they are right in my fallback book slump wheelhouse. The narrator seemed to have a weird speech patter and rhythm. I usually love her work. I may return these books.

goid series

i love this series. the characters are amazing the story line is awesome but most of all it kept me interested.

Good for a long trip.

great simple story to pass 24 hours of travel.
there was never a part the was dull and the author used all of the plot setups made no wondering why we never heard about that thing from two chapters ago.

Pay attention to all the reviews

I thought I could get past the narrator but nope can't do it. BAD real bad. Laurel Schroeder is usually much better, but not this time. I do not recommend this book only because of the bad narration.

Great Story

Loved the books themselves, but I could barely stand the halting way the narrator talked. Good luck.

Narrated

I enjoyed the story but the narration was irritating. She has this cadence when she reads that almost sounds like it’s a computer program. Maybe it is, I don’t know but I almost stopped listening and wanted to return it. Luckily the story was interesting enough that I decided to continue. It could have been 4-5 stars with a better narrator.

Was like listening to William Shatner perform. Choppy. Emotionless.
But the world, and contrived situations are fun
