exciting and grooming for the whole 6+hours

exciting book on audio for the 6 plus hours of a road trip. sometimes the character's voices didn't really make sense but besides that it was a pretty good audiobook, gripping for the whole time.

Great police story,but did not care for the woman

Good story, would recommend to anyone who enjoys crime stories. Listening was enjoyable, Patterson is great.

Enough with the sound effects already!

story was great (as always), but I HATED THE SOUND EFFECTS - the spookymusic(?) in the background - and especially the various characters sobbing and crying! I would much prefer just a simple narration - it doesn't need to sound like a radio melodrama!

Not fond of the sound effects

1st book in the series was the best -especially the narrator. Now, they’ve added the sound of a man crying. the sound of a gun shot, etc. Not enjoyable when listening to a book. It feels like a bad movie where they only remembered to include the audio portion. Also the plot was the same as the previous book in the series - easy to predict what’s going to happen next.

Good story

pauses between chapters took away from a other wise good story, unnecessary and very annoying.

Predicable, but good

The story is follows a very predicable trajectory, but is classic Patterson and thus enjoyable.

James Patterson engages the reader from the beginning. Fast paced, never a dull chapter. Good read.

Loved it, great story line. enjoyed every minute of it. Can't wait for the next one.
