  • Day 3: Søren from Øresundsmiljøskolen
    Sep 7 2021

Øresundsmiljøskolen is a place to get insight into life underwater. Behind Christiania is a small body of water that is located in front of an old military building that is now filled with ocean life taken out of the harbour. The school is an educational space where young people are invited to learn about local ocean life hands on. The kids wade out into the water with fishing nets and boots to see what's below and bring it in for a closer look.

  • Day 3: Tim Ole from Norvin
    Sep 6 2021

The association for winter bathers, NorVin, is exactly that. A place where you go to get cold and wet and then hot and wet... rinse and repeat. We wanted to get the full experience, even though, it was summer, so we met up with Tim early in the morning on the last day of the festival to see what all the hype was about. "Jump in the water is NOT warm."

  • Day 2: Bodil from Havhøst and Bølgemarken
    Sep 6 2021

Bio-cabins are a simple solution that turns food waste into habitats for small ocean creatures. We visited Havhøst during the festival and ate oysters and muscles, it was/ is the simple way to make change. Bodil, one of the board members who is also a founder of Bølgemarken (a blue-muscle farm that produces produce for a lot of local restaurants) told us about the launch of their newest project. Both organisations have taken the initiative to make cyclical food production that minimizes food waste and helps ocean life flourish.

  • Day 2: Troels (Foldning.dk), How to make a Sampan Sailboat
    Sep 6 2021

This was an experimental exercise in "Origami Radio." Troels of Foldning.dk instructs us on how to fold one of his own original designs, a Sampan Sailboat, THAT ACTUALLY WORKS. Listen in as we make a desperate attempt to give origami audio instructions. Try to follow along to see what you end up with or just listen in to see us epically fail, or maybe succeed :).

We met up with an eclectic origami/ paper architect, 'Wunderkind' Troels to tell us about his love of the medium, including the do's, don'ts and trends of paper folding. Foldning.dk is a small lovable dedicated group based in greater Copenhagen, who are innovating the medium one crease at time.

  • Day 2: Sydhavn versus Nordhavn
    Sep 6 2021

Alex, Brandon and Thomas give their opinions on the similarities and differences between the two newest, under-construction areas in Copenhagen. The two areas represent the future of an ever growing metropolitan and international city. How do you transfer from a bustling working class harbour, to an under used one and, now, into a prominent middle and upperclass residential paradise for young families who decide to pass on the traditional options given in the older neighbourhoods of Copenhagen?

  • Day 1: Henrik from Nordsø Records
    Sep 6 2021

To quote Alexander Wils and many great authors before him, " We walked many, many miles...this was supposed to happen, we were meant to find this place." Deep in the outskirts of Nordhavnstippen is maybe one of the most interesting cafe/ record shop/ music venues known to very few. We ran into a two man crew pressing limited edition vinyls while serving up panini and cold beer to us who boldly made the journey into the developing world.
