Committed to socially conscious program development, she leverages short-term targeted cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as somatic and arts therapies, to help individuals from young adults to older adults utilize their personal tool kits and return to homeostasis through any life change or crisis. With eight years of experience in older adult long-term care, Elanit addresses challenges such as teenage autonomy shifts, divorce, COVID stressors, and older adult transitions with compassion and expertise.
    Elanit specializes in group therapies, geriatric care, case management, social work, and one-to-one therapies that encompass motivational interviewing, EMDR, somatic therapies, cognitive behavioral and exposure therapies, community outreach, and organizational growth. She is passionate about connecting and collaborating with others to enhance these areas further. Early in her career, Elanit focused on large-scale social justice public projects and planning in the arts, designing workshops, events, and performances. These experiences not only enrich her clinical work but have also inspired her book authorship and the creation of environments that add significant value to the quality of life for older adults. Elanit firmly believes in the healing and educational power of art, grounding her philosophies and current work in her strong foundation in the arts.
